Hair is one of the most personal aspects of our appearance.  It frames the face, and when styled properly, it can be used to highlight a person’s best characteristics.  I love being able to use my trade to boost self-esteem, and I take a fresh and holistic approach to every client’s personal image.  

I am truly passionate about my career and the art of styling hair.  As a master color expert and experienced stylist, I have made it my mission to stay ahead of current trends.  It’s my goal to excel at my craft and to always allow for continued growth as an artisan.

My career began in 2005 when I graduated from the Aveda Institute.  Since then, I have undergone extensive training, and it has been a pleasure to bring that experience to the Boulder community. While I was a  Training Specialist for Wella professionals, I enjoyed the benefits of continued education while also sharing my expertise with other industry professionals.  This led me to becoming a wella master color expert in 2014 from Soho Academy, NYC. I left wella professionals in 2017 and am now focusing on my business in Boulder.  

Through my work with The SideDoor Salon, I am able to see my creative vision come to life, and I have the privilege of watching every detail of each client’s transformation from start to finish.  The SideDoor Salon is Boulder’s premier hair salon, offering the ultimate in hair artistry. Striking the perfect balance between luxury and relaxation, it is the ideal environment for my work and my clients.

I make sure that every client is comfortable in my chair, and most importantly, walks away with rich vibrant color and a stunning silhouette.
